"It is indeed remarkable that after a seemingly miraculous feat of morphogenesis, a complex metazoan should be unable to perform the much simpler task of merely maintaining what is already formed." - Georges Williams, 1957
My name is Théo ASPERT, I am a bioengineer and PhD in the biology of aging. I have grown a particular interest in developing and using microsystems combined with imaging and computer-vision methods to control and measure single-cell and tissue dynamics in an automated manner.
In particular, I am enthused by coupling the power of 3D culture & microphysiological systems with imaging, quantitative analysis workflows and automation to solve basic and translational research challenges, in a collaborative, constructive and multidisciplinary environment!
